Modern Maid

Originally a division of the Tennessee Stove and Manufacturing company, Modern Maid began appearing on appliances in the United States in the late 1950s. In 1965, Tennessee Stove changed its name to Modern Maid and the brand was off and running. Subsequent years brought expansion of the Modern Maid brand into a full line of kitchen appliances, including the brand's signature cooking collection, dishwashers and even microwave ovens.
